The drink that escaped the convent!
During the colonial period in mexico, in the city of Puebla, Clare nuns used to cook for important officials and celebrities. Legend has it that through the fusion of flavours from the new world and the old, the famous spirit drink Rompope was created, reserved specially for the elite.
Today, the past owners of Rompope Santa Clara, decided to take the plunge and adventure into the mixture of Agave spirits, a dairy base and traditional Mexican flavours. Thanks to the knowledge of several generations, a new type of spirit was born. One whose flavour and taste matches its award winning reputation, a true tequila-friend: Tequi-pal.
